Advantages and characteristics of cylinder pipes: smaller outer diameter than ordinary steel pipes, higher precision, superior performance, high precision of finished products, good surface quality of steel pipes, larger cross-sectional area of steel pipes, and can be produced in small batches. Compared with ordinary steel pipes, the biggest advantage of cold-drawn precision steel pipes is that they have no welding seams and can withstand greater pressure.


The so-called cylinder pipe is generally used in institutional structures and hydraulic equipment. It is a seamless steel pipe with high precision and good surface finish. When carrying out small and medium-sized construction projects, the use of mechanical structures or hydraulic equipment is essential, and cold-drawn precision steel pipes (cylinder pipes) can greatly reduce machining time, improve material utilization, reduce construction costs, and improve product quality.


Seamless steel pipes with smaller dimensional accuracy and better quality must use cold rolling, cold drawing or a combination of the two. Cold rolling usually rolls steel pipes in an annular pass composed of a circular cross-section groove and a fixed conical head. The cold-drawn steel pipe is carried out on a 0.5~100T single-chain or double-chain cold drawing machine.


The quilting pipe is processed by rolling. The stress left on the surface of the steel pipe has a good sealing effect on small cracks on the surface and can prevent the surface from being corroded. This improves the corrosion resistance of the surface and reduces the occurrence and expansion of cracks, thus enhancing the compressive strength of the quilted pipe. The roll-formed quilted pipe can form a cold work hardening layer on the surface, reducing the elastic and plastic deformation of the grinding pair's contact surface, thus improving the wear resistance and preventing burns caused by grinding. The surface roughness after rolling is greatly reduced, which improves the flexibility of the quilted tube.


The so-called rolling processing is a kind of chip-free processing, which uses the plastic deformation of metal at normal temperature to smooth the surface unevenness, thereby achieving the ultimate goal of changing the surface structure, mechanical properties, properties and dimensions. This kind of rolling processing technology cannot be achieved by grinding, and it also meets the requirements of finishing processing and strengthening.


The principle of rolling processing is to use the cold plasticity characteristics of metal at room temperature. The rolling tool is used to exert a certain pressure on the workpiece to cause plastic flow of the metal on the surface of the workpiece, thereby reducing the roughness of the surface of the workpiece. Due to the plastic deformation of the rolled surface metal, the surface tissue is cold-hardened and the grains are refined, forming a fine fiber shape, which increases the metal hardness and strength, and improves the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and conformability of the workpiece surface.
